Privacy Policy — Pin Scheduler (Pin Desk)
Last updated: July 2026
Pin Scheduler, a free tool by Pin Desk (pindesk.xyz), connects to your Pinterest account using Pinterest's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. We never ask for, see, or store your Pinterest password.
Data we access
We request the following Pinterest API scopes, and only to power the features you use:
- Your Pinterest boards (read/write), so you can choose or create where a pin is posted.
- Pin creation permissions, so we can publish or schedule a pin that you have specifically submitted.
Every pin queued through this tool is a submission you made yourself — either by filling out the single-pin form, or by uploading a CSV file of pins you prepared. A background process then posts each queued pin at the time and pace you configure; we do not post anything you did not submit or configure yourself.
Data we store
Your Pinterest access and refresh tokens are stored on our server (not just in your browser), so that queued and scheduled pins can continue to post even while your browser is closed. Pin content you submit (title, description, image URL, destination link, board, and schedule time) is stored on our server until it is posted, so we can track its status on your dashboard. We do not share this data with any third party.
Data deletion
Click "Disconnect" inside the app at any time to remove your stored Pinterest tokens from our server, or revoke Pin Scheduler's access directly from your Pinterest account settings. You can cancel any pin still in the queue before it posts.
